Will You Walk With Jesus Or Walk Away

CONSIDER THIS

There’s nothing like fresh hot bread right out of the oven. Ask Tom Beaman. He’s quite the bread baker. The aroma while its cooking is enticing. And then we take that first bite. It’s easy to eat the whole loaf in a blink. Yet, a few hours later, we get hungry again for more, more, more.

Some of us have been on a search for that certain something that will satisfy and we come up short. We wander about, singing along with the Stones, “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction.”

Until we meet Jesus. He alone can satisfy. Jesus said it Himself, “I am the bread of life. The person who believes in Me hungers and thirsts no more, ever.” The people who literally heard Him speak those words understood what He was saying. “You need Me every minute of every day. I am all you need. I’m the bread of life. Without Me, you will perish. With Me, you will live forever.”

It is still true for us today. Nothing is more important than Jesus.

Be like Simon Peter. He told Jesus, “Lord, where else would we go? You have the words that give real life, eternal life. We believe and know that You are the Holy One of God.”

Are you hungry today? Are you feeling dissatisfied or empty? Jesus prepares a table for you. He invites you to come and dine. Only those who feast on the Bread of Life will be satisfied now and forevermore.
