And while that means you might learn some things on how to be a better person, how to have a better marriage, or how to be more fulfilled in life, that's not really the point. Because without Jesus, none of that matters. It's because of Jesus that we can be a better person. It's through Jesus that we can have a better marriage. And true fulfillment is only found in Jesus. This means we teach from the Bible because the Bible is all about Jesus. From Genesis to Revelation, this book tells one story; His Story. While there are many 'little' stories, they all point to the big story; the story of a loving God who stepped into His Creation - God in human Flesh (that's Jesus) - and came on a rescue mission for you and me. Jesus really is the Hero of History. Often, we'll go through whole books of the Bible, verse by verse, to show you what the whole Bible teaches and how it relates to Jesus.

Why do we do this? Because the Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing the word of God; the Bible. So, we want to preach as much of it as we can. Many of our sermons are online (with more to come). ACCESS THEM HERE!

Worship is more than just entertainment. In fact, it is not 'for' us or 'about' us. It is for God and to God. That said, we can worship God through many different styles of music. Here at the River, we have a mix of what most would call contemporary music, along with traditional hymns and everywhere in between! All in all, the atmosphere is casual, the music is refreshing, and the people are real.

The Women’s Ministry is focused on helping women grow more deeply in their love of Jesus, grow in their knowledge of the Bible, and get connected with one another in community with the ultimate goal of creating disciples of Jesus who make other disciples.

Our Men's Ministry exists to disciple men who will stand with Jesus, remain pure, follow Him wherever He goes, and be on mission. Our families, our churches, our communities, and our culture need men who will stand up and lead! The end goal of our Men's Ministry is to create theologically sound followers of Jesus who are vital leaders in their homes, in the church, in the workplace, in our community, and beyond.

Roots is the middle school and high school ministry of the River. Roots exists to disciple a generation that passionately loves God, follows Jesus with all their heart and because they do they change the culture they live in.
