CONSIDER THIS
”Give them something to eat.” The disciples were stressed. What were they to do? 5000 hungry people were needing food. Rather than look to God, they take out their calculators. There’s no way. It’s impossible.
All they saw was problems. Jesus saw people. He saw their needs, their hurts, their hearts. He saw an opportunity. Don’t miss the irony. In the presence of the Bread of Life, they say there is no food. Can we be any more discombobulated?
A little boy’s lunch is brought to Jesus. A lunch pail becomes a feast. All are fed with plenty left over. The focus is not on the miracle, it’s on Jesus. He is our Provider. He is the Faithful One. He wants you to get to know Him.
