When What You Need Most Is Right In Front of You

How often do we look for something and there it is, right in plain sight, right smack in front of us?

That’s what it was like back in the day. Jesus had been walking in their midst, doing mind-boggling signs, proving that He is the Son of God, the Savior of the world. People didn’t realize that the One they’d been searching for was right in front of them. Hidden in plain sight. They could see Him, hear Him — so close they could touch Him. And yet, so many did not believe in Him.

Just like the religious leaders. They chose not to believe. They blatantly rejected Jesus. As a result, their eyes were blinded so they could not believe. 

If you choose to reject Jesus and harden your heart to Him, the day may come when your choice will be confirmed. Beware of the day when “did not” becomes “could not.”

He’s here, right in front of you, right now. Choose to say “yes” to Jesus.
