Holiday traditions tend to remain the same, year after year: Easter bunnies. Deviled eggs. Church. Family brunch. When it comes right down to it, though, Easter is all about change. The resurrection of Jesus changed the course of history and forever changes our lives today.

The resurrection is a history-making, life-transforming, eternity-changing truth. You may appreciate it, maybe even believe it, but do you understand how it changes you forever?

Consider, as if for the first time: who Jesus is, His life, His death, His resurrection, what it all means. Don’t take the resurrection for granted, as if it’s just another story we hear once a year. The truth of the resurrection is just as shocking today as the day it first took place — because Jesus is still alive. Allow that truth to sink in. 

The reality of the resurrection challenges our mind, brings grace that changes our heart, and creates a purpose that changes the direction of our life. His grace is here, right now, to change you. Forever.

And then share it  — with everyone you meet — as if the resurrection just took place a few moments ago. No need to whisper, mutter or mumble. Proclaim it loud and clear. People are dying to hear the Truth.
