Bible Passage: Psalm 107

CONSIDER THIS

Worship is when we’re aware that what we’ve been given is far greater than what we can give. Worship is the awareness that were it not for His tough, we’d still be hobbling and hurting, bitter and broken. Worship is the half-glazed expression on the parched face of a desert pilgrim as he discovers tha the oasis is not a mirage.

Worship is the “thank you” that refuses to be silenced.

Worship is a voluntary act of gratitude offered by the saved to the Savior, by the healed to the Healer, and by the delivered to the Deliverer. — #MaxLucado

Psalm 107 opens with a challenge to give thanks to the Lord. He is good. His love endures forever. This is where we must stand no matter what. Even in the trying times, no matter what is happening in this moment, whatever affliction or struggle we may be facing — remember God is good. God is just. God is able. Our response? Speak out: Give praise. Worship Him. — adapted from #HankWorkman

Psalm 107 reminds us that there is so much for us to be thankful for. It states that the wise will notice all that God has done and praise Him for it.  Let’s recognize who our God is and desire more to worship Him, every moment of every day. — #BrandonLohr

DIGGING DEEPER

Take your time as you read Psalm 107. Underline/highlight or write down all the “thankful things” — and then speak them aloud. Truly give thanks to the Lord for He is good! His love endures forever!!
