CONSIDER THIS
It’s a mind-blowing true story — filled with fascinating characters, like a surprise pregnancy, despicable scuzzy shepherds, a brilliant angel choir, and a baby boy born in a barn. A story we’ve heard so often, we might even take it for granted. But it is this Christmas story where our greatest hope and joy can be found.
Christmas is all about when God Himself came to be with us. It all happened in a blink, God became a wee fragile baby boy. The angels announce His birth to the lowly shepherds — the Savior has come, the promised Messiah, God in human flesh! Twas good news of great joy for all people!
At His birth, while the aristocrats and elites and nobilities were snoozing, the insignificant outcasts were kneeling and worshiping the new born baby, celebrating our Savior. That’s where the true joy of Christmas comes.
If you’re struggling this Christmas, fix your eyes and heart on our Savior. Celebrate the way the shepherds did. Worship at His feet. Reflect on what He has done. Share the good news with others. Come and adore Him.
