Jesus is Greater

Hebrews was written for Jewish believers who were torn between their new faith and their old ways. Their faith was being shaken. The temptation was to slip back into familiar routines and rituals, settling for second best.

There was nothing inferior about the Jewish religion. It was given by God and designed by God. Every principle, rule and ritual had a wealth of meaning. But when Jesus came, the best got better.

Simply put: Jesus is greater. When we put our faith in Him, we will have an unshakeable faith.

So when you feel like the ground beneath you is shaking, life is going cattywampus, nothing much is making sense — look to Jesus. 

Jesus came to reveal God to us. He is the defining word on God — on what the heart of God is truly like, on what God is up to in the world, and on what God is up to in your life. An intimate encounter with Jesus is the most transforming experience ever. He is the only unshakeable One. Stand in your faith. Jesus is superior. Why settle for anything less?
