Tis the best time of year — gathering with family and friends, enjoying all the swell Christmas  traditions, such as baking and decorating, watching favorite Christmas movies, serving hot cocoa at a parade, caroling and hanging mistletoe, hunting Christmas lights and wearing ugly sweaters.

Best of all is recognizing what God did for us…He gave us exactly what we needed.

If our greatest need had been…

• information, God would have sent an educator
• technology, God would have sent us an engineer
• money, God would have sent us an economist

But since our greatest need was forgiveness, God sent us a Savior, His Son, His one and only Son.

O the joy! Our Savior is here! This Christmas let’s focus on Jesus. It’s time to celebrate Him and rejoice!
