Faith Walk
Faith Walk
Bible Passage: Colossians 2:6-10
CONSIDER THIS
A deep-rooted tree is not easily toppled. It’s true for us, as well.
Paul sprinkles warnings throughout his letter to the Colossians. Warnings should never be taken lightly. Indeed, we need to pay attention to them. So hear Paul as he says, “Don’t be held captive by what you see in the world: philosophies, empty lies and deceit, human traditions, and demonic spirits.” Don’t fall for any of this nonsense — don’t put up with it or live by it. The way we conduct ourselves — how we proceed through life, what we do and how we do it — manifests the character of Christ. So walk in Him. Follow Him. Live by faith. Exercise faith.
Take our faith for a walk.
You’ll see, our faith will get stronger as we go along. As our roots grow deeper into Him and our lives are built on Him, then we will be more steadfast in our walk. More and more, we’ll shine the light of Jesus as we walk in Him. Just like a deep-rooted tree, we can stand strong and resolute, unswerving in our topsy turvy world.
