Our Confident Hope

CONSIDER THIS

Hope shines brightest when the hour is darkest
Hope sweetens the difficult moments
Hope sings when all melodies are gone
Hope smiles on the rocky road
There is nothing like hope.
Our hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness

God rescues us from dead-end alleys and dark dungeons. He brings us in to the kingdom of His Son, the Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to repeating, and gives us a confident hope.

Look at all He does for us! These words come from a letter Paul wrote to the Colossian church, painting an extraordinary picture of Jesus, showing that He is more than enough! The noise, the clutter, the influences, the distractions — everything else fades away. He is all we need. He did it all! We have a confident hope because of His priceless gift of grace and are forever changed!
