Don't Miss the Miracle
Don't Miss the Miracle
Speaker: Ben DeSantis
Bible Passage: Acts 13:3-49
CONSIDER THIS
Every morning, when we wake up, it’s a miracle — to even consider opening our eyes, to have sight, to breathe, to wonder about the intricate details of our sleep cycle, to think and feel and imagine — it’s all mind-boggling. And that’s a miniscule fragment of what He does for us. There are literally countless things we take for granted. Don’t miss the miracle.
Look carefully. See God at work. It’s all about Him. He’s the One doing everything. Throughout history, we can see God’s hand at work: He created the world and everything in it, freed His people from slavery in Egypt in grand style and gave them the land of Canaan, provided judges and kings to lead them — and did exactly as He promised, giving us a Savior. Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and raised from death. He is alive! Everyone who believes in Jesus is declared good and right and whole before God.
It’s not what we do for Him, but what God does for us. This message of salvation has been precisely targeted to you. We all mess up, we all fall short, we need a Savior. Don’t miss the miracle right in front of our faces. God makes it perfectly clear He is doing this. It’s a miracle that we have faith, that we can have a relationship with God. Don’t take this for granted. God has done it all.
Remember His goodness, His patient long-suffering, His kindness. Shine the light to the world around us. Love others by sharing these truths with them.
