Forever Changed

CONSIDER THIS

Think about the shepherds in the Christmas story, the blind man sitting on the side of the road, the discarded woman at the well — what happened when they met Jesus? They are forever changed!

Religion cannot change us, save us, redeem us, satisfy us nor free us. Religion can’t do that, but Someone did. It’s all about Jesus. He changes our identity, our heart, our citizenship, our security — He changes everything. Because of that, we live differently now. Forever changed.

We set our hearts on things above, where Jesus is. We now live with Kingdom priorities: His heart, His desires, His agenda, His mission. We choose to love our enemies, pray for those who persecute us, showing kindness, humility, patience, forgiveness. We do *not* do these things so He’ll love and accept us, but because He already does. We are His children! We’re not working for heaven, but living from heaven.

Encountering Jesus changes our life and perspective permanently. We are forever changed — and nothing can change that.
