Bible Passage: Isaiah 9:1-7

CONSIDER THIS

Imagine a person trapped in the darkest cave for days, experiencing complete despair. When a rescuer finally arrives with a powerful light, the sudden illumination isn’t just an end to darkness; it’s the gift of salvation and hope.

The prophet Isaiah states that Judah was left in deep darkness due to their own sin and rebellion. And yet, in the midst of their doom and gloom, there is a promise of hope! These people who walk in darkness will see a great light, bringing joy and lasting peace.

We can certainly relate. No matter how undeserving we might be, the great light has come. What’s that look like?

God sent us a Savior — a Child has been born, His Son has been given! Jesus is the One who is the Light of the world, the One who brings joy and peace to us. He is the most amazing gift ever given, the gift of salvation and hope.
