Easter Sunday: The King is Alive

CONSIDER THIS

Walking to the cemetery at sunrise, their world is in pieces. The brutal murder of their closest friend has left them struggling with a cacophony of feelings. At the tomb, the heavy stone is already rolled away. Before they can make sense of the empty grave, two angels in dazzling, radiant robes appear, asking them, “Why are you looking for the living among the dead? He isn’t here! He is risen!”

• The love shown on the cross is beyond comprehension
• The victory He has won is eternally triumphant!

The fact is: He is Jesus, the King of kings — and our King is alive!
